My spouse and I attended a retreat from December 26th, 2022 to January 25th, 2023, and we welcomed the New Year there. There are no words that can fully convey the amount of information, experiences, feelings, emotions, and realizations in this review. I can say that it was the most incredible and transformative journey of my life, a journey into the depths of myself.
The changes that occurred within me were profound. I became more aware, as if a veil had been lifted from my eyes, and life regained its vibrancy and freshness.
From a practical standpoint, I’ll try to describe it. I gained more mindfulness in each day, living more in the present moment. No, I didn’t suddenly become enlightened )), it’s just the beginning of my path towards self-discovery. For example, my eating habits changed. I stopped overeating and hardly use salt in my food. I think about what I put into my body, although I don’t always succeed as old habits still kick in, but at least I’m aware of them. I stopped worrying about tomorrow and realized that only actions matter, while worrying is a waste of energy. I found an inner anchor, which I had lost a long time ago, my core. This is just a small glimpse of what I took away from this trip.
The people organizing and leading the retreat are bright, genuine, and sincere. It truly matters to them that we grow and develop. We will definitely return, not just once! Thank you.
